A NEST

I try to build a swallow’s nest on the balcony,
but when I lift it, some masked faces knock me down.
Maybe the damned like to wall off Rozafa,
Maybe you’re still guilty of breaking your neck?

I’m trying to find my place in this world,
of sin, of crucifixion.ন
Where perhaps another species commands?
They scold him, ask: – what about this ant, where did it come from, what is it looking for?

Lie to them

If they ask you
Have you ever met me?
Tell them it’s possible
And yes, you didn’t recognize me.

Tell them you forgot me
And you really don’t mean me
Let them think so
And if I flow through your veins.

Hide that spasm on your face
Hide your tears, traitor
So that no one notices
That I fell asleep in your heart.

Don’t even talk about my songs
What I wrote you at night
I cured your insomnia
With you alone picked a solitude.

If they ask you
Why are you awake waiting for the dawn?
Lie to them, don’t admit it to them
Let me erase your wrinkles with a song.

Albina Ceka is the author of five books of poetry and prose.

The author was born in Lezhë, Albania (Albania) on November 28, 1968, after finishing the eight-year school in Blinisht Lezhë, she continued her secondary studies at the school
Pedagogical “Shejnaze Juka” Shkodër and then studied at “Luigj Gurakuqi” University in Shkodër. After her marriage in Rubik, Mirdita, she worked as a teacher in primary education for 14-15 years. In 1997, she emigrated with her family to Greece, returned in 1999 to her homeland, where she worked as a teacher in Rubik’s until 2003.
In 2003, he immigrated to Italy, where he has been living and working for almost 21 years, where he is also an Italian citizen.
