OH THIEF OF DREAMS

How my heart fluttered when you were the one calling,

No, I did not answer, for affection is killed by argument.

How much you stingy, while my soul longed for your closeness,

And my heart in the bliss of your love found solace.

The heart was enchanted by you, only to reap torment, when I see you depart from places.

Did you think, my love, that I was strong? The fire of passion in my heart is unbearable.

I did not arrange my feelings in love, the heart obeys when emotions ignite.

Oh thief of dreams, I lived them with my emotions so that hope could flourish within me.

You neglected my longings, the warmth of my love, and left me to complain of abandonment hastily.

My life and fate are in your hands, I love you, and love is a grave matter.

My hope for a joyful life is your affection,

I sought union and have not despaired, nor will I.

Come to me, I have longed for your embrace,

I am a woman, and without you, I am incomplete.
