BOOZED UP

When I first encountered your eyes
My heart leapt up
I felt we had met numerous times in the past
As we made miles of a journey together

Time ran as days blinked
In the ocean of drink
You did sink and sink
And I was not an exception.

Your affectionate gesture in the drink
Flashed me and now we are interlinked
In your every word, I felt love
My troubles you instantly shove.

For me, your presence is a solace
In my vein, you are blood so fresh
Without you, I become lifeless
You are my everything.

My moist eyes always wait for your hue
In my life the colours you imbue
Purity of my heart has no doubt
I do think of you yours what about.
