ALCHEMY

If you are lucky enough to die in life

while you walk on earth, do not despair!

You will know yourself and your inner alchemy.

You will be alone, you will lose track of time.

Everything you say, no one will understand you…

You will feel a lot of pain..

The roots and connections of past lives will hurt you.

To be reborn,

an inner calvary will accompany you.

You will be strange to everyone, including yourself.

You won’t understand anything…

You will understand everything when the time comes.  You will lose feelings, attitudes

and all the values ​​of this world

will fall into worthlessness.

You will have yourself and you will have nothing…

The dawn will die and the morning will rise,

on the paths paved with thorns

and you will not see the end of that road.

You will be looking for answers to many questions.

No one, absolutely no one, will be able to give them to you…

You’ll have to discover them yourself.

You will be guided by God’s hand and you will know it.

It will last that long

until you fully understand

what is happening to you…

Roadside signs will follow you.

That will be your only consolation.  Power…

You will unlock codes, codes countless

that you didn’t know existed.

Know the mysteries, you will travel to the future,  see the undiscovered

and realize that everything is allowed to you!

You will bury anger, fear, guilt,

imposed moral values,

shackles, prejudices…

You will see reality with different eyes.

You will know yourself, your worth

and build your own face.

You will trust your intuition…

Spoken words won’t mean anything to you,

nor what is written that is easily erased

as much as what you read

when you understand what is written between the lines.

You will know who your real friends are,

and there will be few… Very few!

It will hurt, a lot, but it will pass

because you will turn pain into happiness,

and all the scars in the possibilities

when you know how

with your own inability to cope.

You will read the unwritten wisdom of your own

and you will know how true it is

and when there is much folly in it.

You will purify your soul and know unconditional love.  You will love every wrinkle

and walk proudly through life…

You will have your truth and that which belongs to others will not touch you.  You will know that you are special, different

and that you belong to the minority.

You will finally accept that as a gift from God

you will discover and see the beauty of life

and everything existing

if you can both receive and give.

Biography:

Cvija Peranovic Kojic was born 1968 in Brčko, BiH, Austria. After finishing high school, in her hometown, she continued to live and study in Austria, at the Higher School of Economics, studying German at the same time, and later she studied psychology at the Pedagogical Academy in Brčko.  Today, he lives in Austria with his family and is actively engaged in literary and scientific work.  She is the author of six independent books, four for adults: Where Love Connects, We Build Bridges of Happiness, The Other Side of Life, Alchemy of Mind and Soul and two books for children: Let’s Play and Playful World of a Little Schoolboy.  It is represented in dozens of anthologies in BiH and the region, but also around the world.  She is a member and ambassador of many regional and international literary associations and academies and a participant in several international poetry festivals.  She is the winner of numerous awards and recognitions, and her work has been translated into several foreign languages.
