Life’s Rhythm

Life, a pulsating heart, ceaselessly beating,

Urgent like the hands of a clock, swift and fleeting,

Now weeping, now laughing, now in dreams retreating,

Taking life drops by drops from every being.

Desires wait in line with hopeful eyes,

The fox of time watches each moment that flies,

Underneath the ribbon, a hidden gaze lies,

The fragile sound’s harmony in the air lies.

In the caravan of life, with many a traveler,

Wealth may empty, then fill, to savor,

Even if fate falters in the middle,

The camel in its stride plays the melody of belief.

Moon, Sun, mercy raining from the stars,

Respect from friends, advice from the czars,

Faithful devotion from the one who’s ours,

Echoing in memories, ringing like guitars.

Mastering the dance with life’s rhythm,

Emerging from the whirlwind, unscathed and grim,

Learning lessons from what you hear and see,

Facing heights, ascending triumphantly.

The sea’s wave is singular, the river’s turmoil is lone,

The mountain’s volcano is one, the forest’s lion is known,

Summer’s warmth in the autumn’s breeze is shown,

In every moment of its rhythm, life ages on.

Elmaya Jabbarova

was born in Azerbaijan.

She currently lives in Sumgayit city.

She graduated from secondary school with a Gold medal and from the institute with excellent grades.

She is chemical engineer –  technologist.

She worked in many positions and

she is the author of many scientific projects as an engineer.

She was awarded with honorable decrees and “WINNER” medal for her efficient and business activity.

She is an independent UNDP  expert.

She is poet, writer, reciter, translator.

Her poems were published in the  regional newspapers “Sharqin sesi”, “Ziya”, “Hekari”, “Elm & tahsil”, “zim.az”, “zirve.info”, in the literary collections “Turan”, “Janim Azerbaijanim”, “Karabakh is Azerbaijan!”, ” “Motherland”, “Zirva”, “Zafar”, “Buta”, foreign Anthologies «Silk Road Arabian Nights», «Nano poem for Africa», «Juntos por las Letras 1; 2», «Kafiye.net» in Turkey, in the African’s CAJ magazine, Bangladesh’s Red Times magazine, «Prodigy Published» (USA ) magazine. SYNCHRONİZED CHAOS (USA) magazine.

At the same time, her translations of the poems of poets from other countries were published in translation collections published in Belarus and on social media platforms.

She is officially an honorary member of CAJ (CONGRESS OF AFRICAN JOURNALISTS) magazine.

One of the founders of Network of  Pen  Pushers and Writers around the World and she has been appointed Global Coordinator.

The winner of many competitions, especially Mark Twain, is a graduate of the Walt Whitman International literary competition.

Her poem was included in the Hyperpoem to be submitted to the Guinness Book of Records.

She performed her poems live on Bangladesh Uddan TV, at the II Spain Book Fair 1ra Feria Virtual del Libro, Juntos por las Letras Panama, Bolivia, Uruguay, France, Portugal, USA, Colombia, Azerbaijan, Kirgizistan, Banqladesh, India.

Her poems are translated into other languages, is recited both by herself and by others, and music is composed to the words of her poems.

Together with poets from 120 countries, she was awarded the title of Global Poet of 2023 and International founder for her literary activity.

Awarded the “Golden Pen” by the Global Writers Academy.
