TO LOVE INCOGNITO

I would have hugged you several times

Had I been with you.

Both beside each other

Should this be so true,

We are born in different parts of the earth

And I feel here your dearth

No point repenting on this birth

It’s natural for all

Love may still us befall.

You construe!

You’re far from me

As I am far from you.

I am satisfied after talking to you

And you too, I guess you do

Talks make a good loveday

Though physically we’re away.

Let’s exchange our kisses

While we’re on the same way.

Untill our minds may dorm

Till hearts to our will do conform

Come join me someday

Or I will try to make my way

To you

I hope I am true.

Until our minds outwin

Our hearts, and we get astray

From the paths of general folks

To passionless roads we get away

You may in my passion stay.

Or more of this I won’t say.

Who knows about life ?

She may anytime break away,

The beautiful moments are shortlived

Those won’t long stay.

This I know

And therefore, I vow

To walk with you

Our way.

Santosh Kumar Pokharel is a globally renowned World-Peace Activist and rewarded writer, multilingual poet, editor, and translator from Nepal.
